The new president of the national airline "airBaltic" must be found during the next few weeks, Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis (Unity) said in an interview with Latvian Radio today. Dombrovskis believes that the airline's new president could be found during this period with the help of employment agencies. The airline's new president must have international experience and reputation. He will have two months to draft a plan on restoring the airline's profitability. The prime minister pointed out that there were no additional agreements on severance package for the airline's former president Bertolt Flick. However, the previous agreement, "which Flick in fact signed with himself", could include such terms. The airline's new board will assess it. |
